About HistoRx
HistoRx is enabling new approaches to individualized patient care. We provide a solution to the need for quantitative, standardized and reproducible analysis of protein biomarkers in tissue.
As more and more biomarkers are discovered, protein expression is being increasingly correlated with disease outcome. As a result, an urgent need exists for diagnostic tests that provide quantitative multiparametric analysis of protein in tissues with a high degree of accuracy and objectivity. HistoRx’s proprietary AQUA technology addresses that need.
We are applying AQUA technology to develop a line of novel multi-marker tissue-based cancer diagnostics that will enable precise measurement of critical, localized proteins previously undetectable using conventional tissue analysis.
Today, our technology is successfully used by large pharmaceutical companies and academic researchers in drug discovery and clinical development to gain new insights into cancer treatment. Over fifty publications validate applications of the technology in many different types of cancer. Through our Pharmaceutical Services, we help biopharmaceutical companies advance their drug development programs.
HistoRx is a private company located in New Haven, Connecticut. It was founded in 2004 in close partnership with Yale University. The company has a fully operational GLP laboratory. The foundational patent that defines the AQUA technology has issued with several others pending.
